Progress Report #2

Team Overview

Anthony Zurick, Kolt Hyde, Brady Hains, Hayden Grove, Nick Midkiff, all got together on several days in the last couple of weeks. We've been doing our best to assign tasks to each other, elaborate on what our goals are, and discussed plans on completing this project before the due date. We talked about rigging and animating our character and monster models, completing the level in unreal so its not only playable but looks nice, and how we are going to fill the level with puzzles and content.

Tasks and Objectives

-Anthony has accomplished blocking out the level in Unreal, and has gotten it to a playable state. Soon he intends to convert the level from a blockout to a more complete level, with unique static meshes, props, and to make it look like a professional level.

-Kolt has accomplished acquiring a textured model for the character, and is in the process of applying animations and blueprinting. Soon he hopes to have it fully rigged, animated, and playable in Unreal before the next devblog.

-Brady has accomplished blueprinting the main menu, blueprinting character movements, set up camera positions, and has all around made the project much more playable. Brady is working on a door system and a player inventory, and hoping to make progress on the monster AI of the game.

-Hayden has accomplished modeling and texturing the monster of our game, and has partially rigged it aswell. Soon he intends to give it animations, and to port it into the project.

Nick has accomplished acquiring sound samples for our game, and assisting in main menu design. Nick hopes to continue to work on 2D art assets, and to help in blueprinting wherever needed.

What we accomplished together!

We have a monster, a character, a blocked out level, and a working unreal project.

We made serious progress! The due date is rapidly approaching, but we have the resources, time, and drive to complete this sufficiently. Soon our level will have the monster, the character, and the level itself all in a functional manner, and from there we just need to make it better. Everyone has contributed to the project, and is working on tasks.
